Biography
My research spans the core areas of acoustics and mechanics of materials. I design tailored materials that control the flow of acoustic/elastic information passively, and advanced sensing systems that push the limits of wave imaging. My work has applications ranging from nonlinear ultrasonic imaging, elastic metamaterial design, vibration absorption, and elastic cloaking.
